Benton Elementary Glow Party with DJ Jazzy Josh | Columbia MO School Dance DJ

There’s something special about a gym full of glow sticks, neon colors, and a dance floor packed with excited kids—and Benton Elementary absolutely brought the energy for their Glow Party!

I had the chance to DJ this awesome event, and from the moment the music started, the crowd was ready. We kicked things off with some high-energy tracks to get everyone moving, and it didn’t take long before the entire floor was glowing and dancing. Events like this are all about creating a fun, safe space where kids can let loose, be silly, and just enjoy the moment—and Benton nailed it.

One of my favorite parts of the night was the interactive games. From freeze dance to dance circles and even a full-on limbo competition, the students were all in. You could see the confidence build as kids jumped into the spotlight, showed off their moves, and cheered each other on. That’s the kind of energy that makes these events so memorable.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a glow party without the music. I mixed in a blend of current hits, clean favorites, and high-energy dance tracks to keep the momentum going all night long. The goal is always to keep the floor full—and Benton made that easy.
