Hey, I’m Josh — the person behind Jazzy Josh DJ & Events. I bring music, sound, lighting, MC work, and a whole lot of crowd-reading energy to weddings, school dances, private parties, fundraisers, and community events across Mid-Missouri.
My goal is simple: make your event feel easy, fun, organized, and genuinely memorable. I’m not there to hijack the spotlight or awkwardly yell into a microphone all night. I’m there to keep things moving, read the room, make the important moments feel polished, and help people have a great time.
Behind the Booth
When I’m not DJing, I’m an educator, dad, husband, and the kind of person who genuinely enjoys helping an event feel less stressful for everyone involved. That background matters. I’m used to managing groups, giving clear directions, thinking on my feet, solving weird little problems, and keeping the energy positive without making it feel forced.
I care about the details: the ceremony mic working when it needs to, the grand entrance landing cleanly, the dance floor building at the right pace, and the final song feeling like a real ending instead of someone just unplugging the party.
