Summer may be winding down, but we had time for one more pool party!

Jazzy Josh DJ & Events had a great time providing the music and photo booth for the West Broadway Swim Club Back to School Bash in Columbia, Missouri. It was a night full of swimming, music, dancing, photo booth pictures, and plenty of energy around the pool.

A Back to School Party That Still Felt Like Summer

A Back to School Bash doesn't have to feel like summer is already over.

West Broadway Swim Club was the perfect setting to give everyone one more chance to hang out with friends, hit the pool, and have some fun before heading back to school.

For an event like this, the music has to match the crowd. We kept things upbeat, fun, and appropriate while mixing in songs the kids actually wanted to hear. As the night went on, the area around the DJ table became its own little dance floor.

That's exactly what I want at these events: good music without making it complicated.

DJ Entertainment at West Broadway Swim Club

Pool parties are a little different from weddings and traditional indoor events. You're working with a big open space, people are constantly moving around, and you're competing with all the activity happening in and around the pool.

The goal isn't just to turn the music up. It's creating enough energy that the music becomes part of the event.

For the West Broadway Swim Club Back to School Bash, Jazzy Josh DJ & Events provided DJ entertainment and kept the music moving throughout the party. Between swimming, hanging out with friends, dancing, and making requests, there was always something happening.

And yes, the Hawaiian shirt absolutely made an appearance. 🌺

Back to School Photo Booth Fun

We also brought out the Jazzy Josh photo booth, complete with a custom West Broadway Swim Club Back to School Bash design created specifically for the event.

The photo booth gave everyone something fun to do away from the pool and created some great pictures for kids, friends, and families to take home from the night.

It's always fun seeing how quickly people figure out that the photo booth is there—and then come back five or six more times before the night is over.
