Some weddings just have an energy you won't forget, and Rachael and Garrison's was definitely one of them!
I had the pleasure of providing DJ and MC services for their October 10 wedding, starting with a beautiful outdoor ceremony near Keytesville, Missouri, and finishing with one heck of a party at Knight & Rucker Banquet Hall in downtown Brunswick.
Between the personal touches, the music, and a dance floor that stayed busy all night, this was a fun one!
A Beautiful Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Near Keytesville, Missouri
The day started with an outdoor ceremony on the family's property near Keytesville.
With a large tree as the backdrop and the Missouri countryside surrounding everyone, it was a great setting for Rachael and Garrison to exchange their vows.
I provided ceremony sound, music, and microphone coverage so everyone could hear those important moments.
Their ceremony music included an acoustic version of "You're Still the One" for the wedding party and "There She Goes" by Valley for Rachael's entrance.
Following the ceremony, everyone made their way to Brunswick for the reception.

Knight & Rucker Banquet Hall provided the setting for the evening's celebration.
One thing I loved about working with Rachael and Garrison was how much personality they put into their wedding. They weren't interested in simply following a standard wedding playlist. They wanted music that reflected them and a reception that gave everyone plenty of time to have fun.
Their grand entrance featured a remix of "Long Cool Woman," followed by a champagne tower and a particularly memorable first dance.
Instead of using a recording, Gerad and Tara performed a personalized version of "Tennessee Orange" live.
Those kinds of details make a wedding feel like it truly belongs to the couple.
Special Family Moments
Before the party really got going, there were some wonderful family moments.
Rachael surprised her Mawmaw with a special bouquet dedication, followed by dances with her mom, Lana, and her dad, Bill.
Garrison also shared a mother-son dance with his mom, Gerri.
One especially meaningful touch was the custom song created just for Rachael's father-daughter dance.
These moments were a great reminder that a wedding reception isn't just about dancing. It's also about celebrating the people who helped get you there.
And Then the Dance Floor Took Off!
Once the formalities were finished, it was time to party.
And this group was READY!
Rachael and Garrison had put together a fun mix of music, including throwback hip-hop, pop-punk, classic rock, EDM, and some unexpected remixes.
We went from songs like "Old Time Rock & Roll" and "Country Grammar" to "No Hands," "Levels," and "Pepas."
The crowd absolutely brought it. People were singing, jumping, and dancing, and at one point, the bride and groom were even up on shoulders in the middle of the celebration!
Those are the moments I love seeing from behind the DJ booth.
We wrapped up the public dancing with Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," followed by a private last dance for Rachael and Garrison to "If We Were Vampires" by Jason Isbell.
A pretty great way to finish the night.
