A Beautiful Fall Wedding at Les Bourgeois Winery in Rocheport, Missouri | Madison & Don

There's something special about October weddings in Missouri, especially when you get a beautiful fall afternoon overlooking the Missouri River.

On Sunday, October 18, 2026, I had the pleasure of providing wedding DJ and ceremony music services for Madison and Don Osborn at Les Bourgeois Winery in Rocheport, Missouri.

Between the outdoor ceremony, gorgeous views, and a reception full of great music, this was one of those weddings that reminded me why I love what I do.

An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Overlooking the Missouri River

Fall has been delivering some incredible wedding weather this year, and Madison and Don couldn't have asked for a much better setting.

Their ceremony took place outdoors at Les Bourgeois Winery, with the Missouri River landscape providing the backdrop.

I handled the ceremony music and sound, including a microphone for the officiant and carefully timed music for each entrance.

Their ceremony featured some especially meaningful selections:

  • "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" (Instrumental) — Family processional

  • "Somewhere in Time" by John Barry — Wedding party processional

  • "Bridal March" by Jonathan Cain — Madison's entrance

  • "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder — Recessional

One of my favorite parts of providing wedding ceremony DJ services is helping couples bring their personalities into these moments. Every selection tells a little piece of their story.

And when you have a backdrop like this one, it makes those moments even more memorable.

From the Ceremony to the Reception

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour while the newlyweds took photos.

Inside the reception space, the exposed wooden beams, large windows, and natural light made for an incredible atmosphere.

As the afternoon sun came through the windows, it created a beautiful backdrop for the couple's first dance.

The wedding party kicked things off with a grand entrance to "HOT TO GO!" by Chappell Roan before everyone welcomed the newly Mrs. and Mr. Osborn!

Madison and Don shared their first dance to "Love You" by Christian Padovan, followed by their parent dances.

Madison shared a dance with her father to ABBA's "Slipping Through My Fingers," while Don and his mother danced to "Memories" by Elvis Presley.

It was a wonderful transition from a heartfelt ceremony into a fun evening with family and friends.

A Wedding Reception With a Little Bit of Everything

One thing I really enjoyed about this wedding was the variety of music Madison and Don wanted.

Their playlist brought together classic singalongs, country favorites, throwback pop, and plenty of 2000s hip-hop.

Some of their requested songs included:

  • "Mr. Brightside" — The Killers

  • "Yeah!" — Usher

  • "Take a Chance on Me" — ABBA

  • "Chattahoochee" — Alan Jackson

  • "Rock That Body" — Black Eyed Peas

  • "California Gurls" — Katy Perry

  • "No Hands" — Waka Flocka Flame

  • "Get Low" — Lil Jon & The East Side Boyz

  • "Piano Man" — Billy Joel

I love weddings where the music can move between generations and genres. It gives everyone a chance to hear something they enjoy, and it makes for a much more interesting dance floor.

And this group definitely came ready to have fun!

Keeping the Dance Floor Moving

Once the formalities wrapped up, it was time to turn up the music.

Madison and Don wanted a reception that started with familiar favorites before transitioning into a more grown-up party atmosphere later in the evening.

The dance floor was full of personality. There were guests singing along, groups dancing together, and plenty of those hilarious moments that make wedding receptions memorable.

I always enjoy getting to work with a crowd like this. You can have the best playlist in the world, but it's the people who really make the party.

The couple chose "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond as their final song, a perfect singalong to bring everyone together one last time.
