There’s something special about a country wedding surrounded by family, friends, and wide-open views—and Brittany & Mikel’s celebration in Jacksonville, Missouri was exactly that.
Set beneath a large reception tent with beautiful countryside views, this wedding had everything you could ask for: heartfelt moments, incredible food, nonstop dancing, and a crowd that came ready to celebrate from the first song to the last.
A Relaxed Country Wedding Reception
After guests arrived and enjoyed dinner together, it was time to officially kick off the celebration. Brittany and Mikel made their grand entrance to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)", setting the tone for a fun, laid-back evening.
Their reception focused on spending time with family and friends rather than packing the schedule with formalities, creating an atmosphere where everyone felt comfortable jumping onto the dance floor.

An Outdoor Reception Done Right
Outdoor receptions always have their own unique feel, and this one was no exception.
The custom dance floor became the center of the party as the sun went down, while my dance lighting transformed the tent into a vibrant reception space. Even without uplighting, the lighting effects added just the right amount of energy while still keeping the relaxed country atmosphere.
Great Food, Great People, Great Memories
One thing everyone will remember from this wedding is the amazing barbecue dinner. Guests enjoyed incredible food before filling the dance floor for the rest of the evening.
What made the night truly memorable, though, was the people. Brittany and Mikel were surrounded by family and friends who celebrated every moment with them—from the first dance to the final singalong.
