There are parties… and then there are parties.
Lilly & Sydney’s B’Not Mitzvah at Stotler Lounge on the Mizzou campus was one of those nights where everything just clicked — great people, amazing energy, and a dance floor that stayed packed from start to finish.
From the moment guests walked in, the vibe was set. We kept things smooth and classy during cocktail hour with a mix of jazz and throwback favorites while everyone mingled, grabbed appetizers, and got settled in.
But once dinner wrapped up… it was game on.
🎉 Grand Entrance Energy
We kicked things off with a high-energy grand entrance that brought everyone to their feet. Lilly & Sydney came in like absolute stars, and right away you could tell — this was going to be a FUN night.
🕺 Multi-Generational Dance Floor = Success
One of the best parts of this event was how everyone got involved.
We mixed in classics like:
Electric Slide
Cha Cha Slide
YMCA
Dancing Queen
Billie Jean
And it didn’t matter if you were a kid, parent, or grandparent — the dance floor stayed full.
That’s always the goal.
🕯️ Candle Lighting Ceremony
We slowed things down for a really meaningful candle lighting ceremony where Lilly & Sydney honored the people who matter most in their lives.
Moments like that are what make these events special — not just a party, but something personal and memorable.
🔥 Hora → Conga Line → Chair Lift (Absolute Chaos in the Best Way)
Then we turned it ALL the way up.
The Hora kicked off with a full circle of guests, hands linked, energy building… and it delivered.
And instead of stopping there?
We rolled that energy straight into a full-on conga line party train weaving through the entire room.
And THEN…
We brought out the chairs.
Lifting Lilly & Sydney into the air while the whole crowd cheered might’ve been the peak moment of the night. Pure celebration. Pure joy.
🎶 High-Energy Dance Party (Kids Took Over)
The final stretch of the night belonged to the kids — and they did NOT hold back.

Throwback hype tracks
…it turned into a full-on dance party with nonstop energy.
Exactly how it should be.
