John & Kayla’s Winter Wedding Reception | The Bistro on the Blufftop | Rocheport, MO

Jazzy Josh DJ & Events recently had the pleasure of providing DJ and MC services for John and Kayla Roodhouse’s wedding reception at The Bistro on the Blufftop in Rocheport, Missouri. Their December 22 celebration brought together close friends and family for a warm and intimate winter wedding in Mid-Missouri.

The evening began downstairs at the venue with the couple’s first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Hailey Reinhart, followed by a heartfelt father-daughter dance to “He Didn’t Have to Be” by Brad Paisley and a mother-son dance to “Oh! Darling” by The Beatles.

One of the most meaningful moments of the night was the anniversary dance, where all married couples were invited to the floor to celebrate lasting love. The final couple remaining had been married 53 years, and the room filled with applause as they were recognized. In a beautiful gesture, Kayla presented her bouquet to them as a symbol of love, gratitude, and family.

After the formal dances, the celebration shifted into open dancing with a mix of wedding classics, crowd favorites, and a touch of holiday music to match the festive December atmosphere.

Guests later moved upstairs for dinner and speeches before the celebration continued with music and dancing.
