Some weddings just build energy all day long — and Madeline + Brandon’s wedding in St. Louis was exactly that kind of celebration.
The day started with an absolutely stunning ceremony at the Jewel Box in Forest Park. With sunlight pouring through the glass walls, tropical greenery surrounding the aisle, and a calm, elegant atmosphere, it was one of those ceremonies that felt cinematic from the moment guests walked in. The couple leaned into a stylish, modern vibe with chill jazz and indie-inspired music during guest seating before officially tying the knot surrounded by family and friends.
After the ceremony, everyone headed to Boundary at The Cheshire for the reception — and the entire vibe shifted from elegant to full-on party mode in the best possible way.
The reception space at Boundary created the perfect atmosphere for the night. Warm lighting, dark wood finishes, and an intimate layout helped the dance floor feel packed from the very beginning. Once the formalities wrapped up, the energy took off quickly with big singalongs, glow sticks, modern pop, EDM crossover hits, and nonstop dance floor moments.
Madeline + Brandon’s music style was one of my favorite kinds of wedding mixes to build around: stylish modern pop, indie dance, nostalgic party records, and high-energy crowd favorites without leaning too heavily into traditional wedding cheese. The night moved from artists like Leon Bridges and Harry Styles into Calvin Harris, Chappell Roan, Flo Rida, Rihanna, The Killers, and more.
One of the biggest highlights of the night was how invested the crowd was all evening long. Guests packed the floor for huge singalong moments, danced shoulder-to-shoulder under the lighting effects, and kept the energy going deep into the night. These are the weddings DJs love being part of — the kind where you look up and realize almost nobody has left the dance floor in over an hour.
