There’s something special about weddings that keep the focus on what matters most: family, friends, and celebrating together. JJ and Lindsay’s wedding at Reichmann Pavilion in Columbia, Missouri was exactly that kind of day.
The afternoon began with an intimate indoor ceremony inside the beautiful timber-frame pavilion. Guests gathered around as JJ and Lindsay exchanged vows surrounded by their closest family and friends. The ceremony featured readings from family members, heartfelt vows, and a simple but meaningful atmosphere that perfectly reflected the couple.
For the processional, the wedding party entered to an instrumental version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Brooklyn Duo before Lindsay made her entrance to “Head Over Feet” by Acoustic Heartstrings. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds exited to “Best Day of My Life,” setting the tone for a fun and relaxed evening ahead.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed dinner and time together before the reception transitioned into dancing. One of the highlights of the evening was how naturally the dance floor filled with multiple generations celebrating together. Kids, parents, grandparents, and friends all found their way onto the dance floor throughout the night.
JJ and Lindsay’s music selections reflected their personalities perfectly. Country favorites from Alabama, George Strait, Luke Combs, and Morgan Wallen mixed seamlessly with singalong classics and party favorites. Songs like “Dixieland Delight,” “Mountain Music,” “Check Yes or No,” “Party in the U.S.A.,” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” kept guests singing along throughout the evening.
As the night continued, the atmosphere felt more like a family party than a formal event—in the best possible way. Guests spent time reconnecting, sharing stories, and celebrating the newlyweds while the dance floor stayed active and energetic.
